Identification Information: The app collects the your name, email address, NMSU ID and phone number and accessed exclusively by the staff of the Aggie Health and Wellness center for the purpose of contact tracing and intruction guide for COVID-19.
Health Information: The self-checker allows you to conduct a quick check of your symptoms and conditions, and provides you guidance of possible steps to take. GPS locations longitude/latitude collection: The app allows you to opt-in the NMSU GPS-based tracking of your location for the purpose of contact tracing. If you opt-in, your GPS locations will be collected while you are within the perimeter of the NMSU campus. The locations will be stored for a period of 14 days in a protected server on the NMSU campus and accessed exclusively by the staff of the Aggie Health and Wellness center for the purpose of contact tracing.
WIFI Access Point BSSID/SSID collection: The app allows you to opt-in the NMSU Wi-Fi based tracking (BSSID/SSID) of your location for the purpose of contact tracing. If you opt-in, your Wi-Fi access information (BSSID/SSID) will be collected while you are within the perimeter of the NMSU campus. The locations will be stored for a period of 14 days in a protected server on the NMSU campus and accessed exclusively by the staff of the Aggie Health and Wellness center for the purpose of contact tracing.
Bluetooth, BLE: The app allows you to scan the Bluetooth devices around you with your permission. This feature helps to detect how many people are around you and keep you safety by warning if the number of people is greater than 5.

The Aggie-COVID-19 app provides a collection of features that are part of the New Mexico State University response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is designed to support the return to campus activities of New Mexico State University (NMSU) with privacy concerns in mind. The app allows students, staffs, and faculty to participate in the following activities:
**The user data is stored securely in the ICT NMSU server behind the firewall, and has never been and will never be published.**

We use secure ICT NMSU hosting server to store the information we collect. We use technical measures and industry best practices to secure your data.
The user data will be permanently deleted from the server after 14 days.
The Services are not directed at children younger than 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children under 13 or knowingly allow such persons to use the Services. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Any information provided as part of the Service is provided “as is”, and in no event shall the providers be liable or any damage or loss due to missing data, low quality data, or misinterpretation of data.
